On Coinglass, LINK trading is picking up steam. Trading volume on Binance is up +18%, while on MEXC, it has expanded by nearly +10%. Bullish as LINK is, trading volume on Hyperliquid, the decentralized perpetual exchange, is down -23%. Overall, confidence is high, and the long/short ratio across accounts and among top trader positions, especially on Binance, stands at 3, suggesting that most traders expect a moonshot above $30.

The LINK price relative to Bitcoin crypto is above the 20-week moving average, a bullish development. What’s more? There are higher highs on the LINK/BTC chart, meaning buyers are keen on loading on dips.

If LINK bulls take over, the analyst thinks there will be a near +200% surge versus BTC.

Meanwhile, another analyst projects LINK to pump by over +50%. Pointing to the LINK USD price action on the daily chart, he notes that the MACD, a momentum indicator for gauging bullish or bearish state, is about to cross, signaling the start of a bullish run.

Thus far, the LINK/USDT daily chart shows that the token has been printing lower lows, dropping over the weekend. For the upside momentum to resume, LINK USD must not fall below $22. A close above $26 with decent, above-average volume may likely catalyze demand, lifting the LINK price above $30 to all-time highs of around $52. Behind the recent surge is the launch of the Chainlink Reserve in August.

Chainlink will use part of its service revenue, accrued from enterprise deals and on-chain usage, to buy LINK from decentralized exchanges. These coins are locked, reducing the circulating supply and exerting upward pressure on the LINK price.

Additionally, Chainlink has been endorsed by the United States Department of Commerce in a deal that will see the government relay important economic data onchain via top Oracle providers, including Chainlink.

One analyst on X thinks LINK shares some similarities with Tesla because of Chainlink’s role in crypto and high-quality partnerships, including with BlackRock via BUIDL.

He said both offer disruptive technology and have long-term value over hype since Chainlink focuses on building infrastructure rather than chasing short-term speculation.
