Analysts Forecast $225 Solana
After Ethereum, we will likely see a Solana surge next. Why? Well, the SOL USD price has broken past the $200 mark following news that Coinbase is partnering with Squads Protocol to drive USDC adoption across the blockchain. The announcement highlights a push to make Solana a leading home for stablecoins, with Squads already securing over $1 billion in USDC and processing more than $5 billion in stablecoin transactions.
This boost in infrastructure comes as Solana remains the fourth-largest blockchain by stablecoin supply, with USDC representing 75% of its $11.17 billion stablecoin market cap. The market responded quickly: SOL gained more than 5% in 24 hours, edging close to the $210 resistance zone. Bearish PPI numbers crashed the whole market and now Solana is trading around $193.
If SOL USD can reclaim and maintain support at the $200–$210 range, it could make a run toward the $225 resistance level.

Crypto is back, and the bull run is resuming.

Massive 15-minute red candles were seen on the global crypto market just shortly after the PPI news. The 3.3% PPI number dragged the whole market down, especially since everyone was expecting a number as low as 2.5%.

Tron Founder Justin Sun Sues Bloomberg Over Crypto Asset Disclosure
In other news, a big headline comes from Tron’s founder Justin Sun. Sun filed a lawsuit on 11 August 2025 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, claiming Bloomberg’s disclosure of his crypto holdings undermines his privacy and could potentially put him and his family at risk.
According to Sun, Bloomberg approached him earlier this year to include him in its online Billionaires Index, where it ranks some of the world’s richest individuals.
Sun claims that he only agreed to participate after Bloomberg assured him that they would keep all asset disclosures, particularly the ones tied to his crypto holdings, strictly confidential and would use them solely to verify his net worth.
