Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens enter the bare-knuckle ring Saturday, but first they have to weigh in for BKFC’s debut show in Philadelphia.
Watch video above for Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins for BKFC KnuckleMania 5, which takes place at Wells Fargo Arena. Alvarez and Stephens are expected to weigh in at the 165-pound limit for the evening’s main event.
Alvarez, a former UFC and Bellator lightweight champion, is 1-1 competing for BKFC, with a split decision win over Chad Mendes and a corner stoppage loss to Mike Perry in his most recent outing this past December. The Philly native looks to impress in front of his home crowd.
He’s opposed by Stephens, a fellow UFC veteran known for his stunning knockout power. Stephens is 2-0 in BKFC, with wins over Bobby Taylor and Jimmie Rivera.
In the co-main event, heavyweight champion Mick Terrill fights MMA veteran Ben Rothwell, who is 3-0 in BKFC.
Ceremonial weigh-ins are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET.
