Brian Armstrong’s firm, Coinbase, continues to advocate for UK crypto policy, as a petition to shake up British blockchain frameworks and crypto regulations gains thousands of signatures.

So far, the petition calling for the United Kingdom to adopt a pro-innovation blockchain and stablecoin framework has surged past 5,000 signatures, after Coinbase triggered a wave of attention by sending in-app notifications to its UK user base this week.

U.S. inflation held steady in August with headline Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising 2.9% year-over-year, matching estimates and up from July’s 2.7 % for a modest acceleration. Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, also came in at 3.1% y/y, holding its level from the previous month.

The data underscores persistent inflationary pressures, especially around tariff-affected goods and rising service costs.

Markets are digesting this as supporting a likely 25 basis-point interest rate cut from the Federal Reserve at its next meeting, rather than a more aggressive move, given inflation remains above the Fed’s 2% target.

South Korea’s top crypto exchange Upbit has listed HOLOWorldAI (HOLO) with KRW, BTC, and USDT trading pairs, alongside Pumpfun (PUMP) with KRW and USDT pairs. The listings went live on September 11, expanding trading options for Korean users.

Meanwhile, Bithumb confirmed it will also support a KRW trading pair for Pumpfun (PUMP), strengthening liquidity across major platforms.

HOLOWorldAI is an AI-driven Web3 project that allows users to create intelligent digital agents and avatars, supported by its HOLO utility token.

According to the Financial Times, the Avalanche Foundation is negotiating with investors to establish two U.S.-based “digital asset treasury” firms in a bid to raise $1 billion and purchase millions of AVAX tokens at a discount. The first vehicle, led by Hivemind Capital, plans to raise up to $500 million via a Nasdaq-listed company; former White House press secretary and crypto investor Anthony Scaramucci is advising on this deal.

The second, also targeting $500 million, is a SPAC sponsored by Dragonfly Capital. If successful, both would buy AVAX from the Foundation under favorable terms.
