Chainlink LINK ▲2.89% has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) to bring official U.S. macroeconomic data on-chain. Through this collaboration, key datasets from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)—including real GDP, the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index, and real final sales to domestic private purchasers—will now be securely accessible across blockchain ecosystems.

The data will be updated monthly or quarterly, depending on the release schedule, and will initially launch on ten blockchains: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Botanix, Ethereum, Linea, Mantle, Optimism, Sonic, and ZKsync. By bridging trusted government data with decentralized infrastructure, Chainlink is enabling developers and institutions to build new forms of on-chain applications, ranging from automated trading strategies to tokenized financial products and transparent dashboards.
