Veteran middleweights Jack Hermansson and Gregory Rodrigues collide at UFC 317, the company’s traditional International Fight Week pay-per-view on June 28. MMA Fighting confirmed the booking following a report by Ag. Fight.
The promotion is yet to unveil the headlining attraction to the card, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Hermansson (24-8) makes his first walk to the octagon 16 months removed from his most recent bout, a unanimous decision victory over Joe Pyfer. The Swedish middleweight, 11-6 in the company, has bounced between wins and losses for the past six years since a Jared Cannonier uppercut snapped a four-fight winning streak.
Rodrigues (16-6) was on a roll in the UFC after beating Denis Tiuliulin, Brad Tavares and Christian Leroy Duncan before stumbling in a main event clash with Cannonier this past February, losing via fourth-round knockout. The former LFA champion has won seven of his 10 trips to octagon, including four bonuses and five knockout finishes.
