Nate Diaz is enjoying the Conor McGregor-Paul brothers circus, even if he wishes there was a little more action.
The fan favorite fighter offered an amused response on social media to a recent clip of McGregor facing off with Jake and Logan Paul at the inauguration of President Donald Trump. McGregor had a conversation with Logan about the boxing bout between the two McGregor claims is being discussed to take place in India, and also told the Pauls he is “going to slap the head off the two of you and KSI,” calling the influencer boxers “a little side job.”
Diaz wondered why the Pauls didn’t throw down with McGregor on the spot if they’re so eager to make a fight with the former two-division UFC champion happen.

“[What the hell] going on here?” Diaz wrote. “You guys all been talking hella shit you should’ve beat his ass.
“He would’ve f*cked you both up easy, but you should’ve at least gave it a try after talking all that shit. You ladies all [cap]. Be about it, don’t talk about it.”
Diaz and McGregor’s careers are inextricably tied together, with the two battling in a memorable two-fight series in 2016. At UFC 196, Diaz scored a stunning upset when he submitted McGregor in the second round. They rematched five months later at UFC 202, where McGregor earned a measure of revenge with a majority decision nod over Diaz. Those were two of the most successful events in UFC history.
More recently, Diaz dipped his toes into the boxing ring, scoring a majority decision win over Jorge Masvidal. He also boxed Jake Paul in August 2023, but fell short via unanimous decision.
McGregor has not fought since breaking his leg in a fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021. He was recently found liable for sexual assault in a civil case tied to a 2018 incident in Dublin, and is currently facing another civil suit over an alleged sexual assault in Miami in 2023.
