The Bitstream is a not-for-profit news and media aggregation site published by Binary Systems, Inc. (BSI), the original BSI since 1977, out of the Richardson Telecom Corridor. It focuses on Real Science and Free Speech in the Cyber World.

Who runs it
Our editors and contributors are “Extraordinary Dudes” who simply get it. They are engineers, doctors, attorneys, business people, and educators, and some are former military. They have been around a long time. They value intelligence, and they don’t need anyone to tell them how to think.

The Bitstream is self-hosted in the Binary Systems data center, so we run our own platform. We write about the same work BSI does for a living:
