Today, President Donald J. Trump returns to the Peach State with a proven record of America First results that put Georgia workers, families, seniors, and communities first. Under the leadership of President Trump and Republicans, Georgians are seeing historic tax relief, a surge of private investment and job creation, lower energy costs, support for farmers, the most secure border in a generation, and safer streets.

Delivering Tax Relief for Hardworking Georgians

President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts are putting real money back in the pockets of Georgia workers, families, and seniors.

• No Tax on Social Security: Approximately 1.8 million Georgia seniors benefit from the new senior deduction, with the average senior expected to pay zero federal taxes on Social Security benefits.
• Bigger Refunds: Georgia taxpayers saw average refunds of $3,169 in 2026.
• Protecting Jobs and Wages: The Working Families Tax Cuts safeguarded 198,000 Georgia jobs, $36 billion in state GDP, and $18 billion in workers’ wages.
• Rural Health Investments: Georgia secured $219 million in first-year Rural Health Transformation Program funding from the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Unleashing a Private Investment and Jobs Boom

President Trump’s pro-growth, America First agenda is driving major private investment and high-quality job creation throughout the Peach State.

• Pirelli is investing $1.2 billion to expand its Rome facility, creating 1,000 jobs.
• Mayville Engineering Company is investing as much as $30 million to establish a new metal fabrication facility in Thomson.
• Siemens is investing $185 million to build a new advanced manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, creating 1,400 jobs.
• DeltaX is investing $141 million to establish its North American manufacturing headquarters in Walton County, creating 250 jobs.
• ArcelorMittal Building Solutions is investing $107 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County.
• Rideout Arsenal is investing $22 million to build a new manufacturing facility, creating 120 jobs.
• Yancey Engineered Solutions is investing $5.7 million to build a new factory in Cordele, creating 300 jobs.
• Unified Legacy is investing $125 million to construct a new manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County.
• UCB is investing $2 billion to build a manufacturing facility in Gwinnett County.
• Pratt & Whitney is investing $200 million to expand operations in Muscogee County.
• Georgia is also positioned to capture a significant share of GE Appliances’ $3 billion U.S. investment, Thermo Fisher Scientific’s $2 billion U.S. investment, Silver Lake’s $400 million U.S. investment, Anheuser-Busch’s $300 million U.S. investment, and General Dynamics’ $200 million U.S. investment, among others.

Supporting Georgia Families, Farmers, and Communities

President Trump is shielding Georgia families from higher costs and delivering support where it is needed most.

• Protecting Ratepayers: Georgia Power is freezing base rates through 2029 and delivering more than $2.8 billion in savings — $180 per year in savings for the typical residential consumer. Georgia’s major utilities have signed President Trump’s Ratepayer Protection Pledge, ensuring large data centers — not Georgia ratepayers — pay for the power and infrastructure they require.
• Delivering for Farmers: The Trump Administration has delivered more than $177 million to over 4,300 Georgia farmers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program and more than $171 million to over 4,000 producers under a $12 billion national bridge program for trade disruptions and higher input costs left by the Biden Administration.
• Delivering Disaster Relief: After Hurricane Helene, President Trump raised the federal cost-share for Georgia disaster relief from 75% to 90%, approved a $318.3 million Disaster Declaration Request, and announced more than $1 billion in FEMA funding for communities and healthcare facilities.

Securing the Border and Ending the Biden-era Betrayal

President Trump ended the open borders policies that enabled tragedies like the murder of Laken Riley and restored the most secure border in a generation.

• President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law, requiring detention of illegal immigrants charged with theft or violence — honoring the legacy of Laken Riley, a Georgia student murdered by an illegal alien previously released into the country.
• The Trump Administration has not released a single illegal alien from the border into the U.S. interior for 17 straight months.
• Refugee admissions are down nearly 90% from 2024 levels.
• Southern border apprehensions in August were 94% lower than the monthly average under the Biden Administration.
• The U.S. recorded negative net migration in 2025 for the first time in half a century, with more than three million illegal aliens having left the country since President Trump returned to office.
• ICE has arrested more than 10,000 gang members during President Trump’s second term.

Making Georgia’s Streets Safer

Crime is falling across Georgia as President Trump’s immigration enforcement, support for law enforcement, and tough-on-crime policies Make America Safe Again.

• In Atlanta, murders dropped 22% last year and continued plunging in 2026 — with homicides down 36% in the first quarter compared to last year.
• In DeKalb County, murders fell nearly 30% last year.

President Trump and Republicans are delivering lower taxes, major private investment, support for ratepayers and farmers, a secure border, and safer communities. Georgians face a clear choice: continue this progress, or return to the higher taxes, open borders, and failed policies of the past.
